Nyack Needs A Skatepark

The concept behind the “Nyack Needs A Skatepark” project is to document the skateboard subculture in general and show what it’s like to be a skater in Rockland County; what the residents of Nyack believe about the sport, where the best spots are and how the new Skatepark will change the area for better. This will be an interview heavy examination of the community effort to create something “really good” for now and the future generations of Nyack outdoor sports enthusiasts. Machete Media Productions will follow the birth of this major production of Nyack Skatepark on the banks of Hudson River from the design to the opening, covering and chronicling the life and behind-the-scenes of Sarah Anderson’s journey to make the park a reality for Nyack community.
