On April 26th Machete Media Productions’ producer and director Bridget Machete, editor; Michelle Howell and video host/journalist Jay Sick attended for the second time the semi-annual Chiller Theater Toy, Model and Film Expo at the Parsippany Sheraton.

Place was booked solid for this event and it drew people eager to meet with celebrities, quasi-celebrities and former headline-makers. Amongst the celebrities interviewed by Machete Media was James Kennedy a Pennsylvania born, actor known for his roles in “Malibu Most Wanted,” all of the “Scream” films, “Bending the Rules” and “Good Deeds.” Jamie talked about his recent work in “The After” to be released in 2015.

VIPs from nearly every media and era were signing autographs, and posed for snaps with fans. We stopped to interview Long Duk Dong of “Sixteen Candles,” it’s been 30 years since the film has been released. Next up was Paul Logan (“Days of our Lives”) who talked about his transition from day time television to action cinema (“Red Code”). Cathy Rigby best known for her work on “Peter Pan” a fabled children's story show from Broadway produced for television and the first United States Olympian to be nominated for Broadway's Tony Award was another great addition to the lineup of actors interviewed by team Machete.

Chiller Theater Expo has been staged for the past 24 years and it has always been attracting great guests like A-lister and Oscar winner Shirley Johns, who talked to our video host Jay Sick about her beginnings and her first role in “Oklahoma.”

Fans were excited to meet “A Night at The Roxbury” and “Scary Movie” star, Lochlyn Munro who was interviewed by Michelle Howell and “Little House on The Prairie” ladies, Alison Arngrim and Charlotte Stewart, who reunited to celebrate series’ 40th anniversary.

The unofficial host and journalist for the expo interviews, getting all of the attention and countless cuddles was Chiller the Chameleon. Chiller does not do many appearances but Jay Sick who is a chameleon breeder decided to bring him out to work on his social skills and as you know it, he did wonderfully. Jay Sick apart from being a journalist and TV host is a concert promoter. He met Bridget six or seven years ago while promoting at Dingbats venue since then they have been teaming up and working together on Celebrity Interviews series.

Meeting all of the celebrities was a memorable experience and as Bridget summed it up for us “ I never thought I would be able to film the people I idolized on TV. I'm still on cloud 9 about this.”

Stay tuned for more celebrity interviews on our Facebook and Twitter pages and of course here on our Machete Media Productions website.
